Willie Jolley’s Book – A Setback is a Setup for a Comeback

Although Willie Jolley’s book  A Setback is a Setup for a Comeback  was written twelve years ago, his advice, stories of inspiration are timeless.

He reveals not only his own painful setbacks but presents examples of the trials experienced by famous folks like Tina Turner, John Tavolta and Lee Iacocca on their paths to success.

In the book, Willie Jolley shares his formula, VDAD, for getting back on track after a setback:

  1. Vision
  2. Decision
  3. Action
  4. Desire

Especially thought provoking was one of his statements… “Is this a setback. or a setback,?”  Is the setback a period which means  the end of the story, that’s it, you’re finished? Or is the setback a comma which is a pause, a transition, more to come?

Willie Jolley shared some of the themes from his book in a recent speech at the Crystal Cathedral during the Hour of Power. And he even sings! Ha

One final note from Willie Jolley’s book.

He writes, “Proverbs 29:18 says, ”Where There Is No Vision the People Perish.” I believe in ”Where There Is a Vision the People Flourish.” We must dare to dream and dare to win!

Go forth today and Dream Big…and then Do Big!

To your success!
