Ric’s television show, with the same name as above, can be seen on more than 200 public television stations across the country and has won eight Telly Awards.

Several years ago I ordered materials from Ric Edelman during a PBS promotion. I implemented a number of his techniques immediately and made several investment changes after reading his book, The Lies About Money.

Recently, award- winning motivator, Willie Jolley, interviewed Ric Edelman, on his SIRIUS XM Radio Show.

Here is a summary of that interview:

  1. Write a check to yourself first. See yourself as a bill.
  2. Make your money work as hard as you do. Use Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and Mutual Funds.
  3. Build a plan. Then, work the plan.
  4. Get past your fear. Realize that all stocks are now on sale.
  5. Don’t be emotional about your investments.
  6. Money doesn’t change people. It just magnifies who you are.
  7. Never spend coins. Collect the change and invest it.
  8. Use supermarket coupons the correct way. When it says “Save a dollar,” go home and save that dollar.
  9. Use the power of $3.00 a day – saving three dollars a day from age 20 to 65 will generate a million dollars!
  10. Wealth is available for everyone in America. Our thinking determines our wealth. Our choices determine our wealth.

There are numerous videos on YouTube from Ric Edelman’s television shows too. Check them out and start applying some of his principles to your financial situation!

To your success!
